When we think of a BBQ, we automatically think of meat, but have you thought of having fish at your next BBQ?Salmon is a great lean protein & contains healthy Omega 3 fatty acid. As well as being heart healthy, this fatty acid helps to slow the rate of which sugar in other food affects our blood sugar.
Fish is quick to cook on the BBQ, oven or grill.

SkewersIf you are using metal skewers no preparation is necessary. Wooden skewers have to be soaked in water for at least a couple of hours, to prevent them catching fire on the BBQ. A short soak isn’t enough. |

Prepare the fish1. Wash the salmon and dry on kitchen paper. Remove any visible bones. |
